We have partnered with African Chess Lounge on a campaign against discrimination and violence. We are calling on the chess community to reserve this day so that black moves first. This campaign is not designed to suppress any race , but to show that systemic discrimination is a human construct and can be undone.

The name ToseSonke was inspired by unity, Tose means “together” in shona and Sonke means “together” in Ndebele.
